Lee Morgan nous propose une collection intitulée ‘The Complete Live at the Lighthouse’ qui présente pour la toute première fois, les 12 sets complets du quintet du trompettiste légendaire lors de leurs concerts historiques en 1970. Il est accompagné du saxophoniste Bennie Maupin, du pianiste Harold Mabern, du bassiste Jymie Merritt et du batteur Mickey Roker.
Cette édition complète de 33 morceaux, produite par Zev Feldman et David Weiss, sera disponible sous la forme d'un coffret de 8CD et d'un coffret de 12LP en vinyle 180g réédité et remasterisé depuis les bandes analogiques originales et d’un livret comprenant des notes de Jack DeJohnette, Wallace Roney, Nicholas Payton, Charles Tolliver, Eddie Henderson, Dave Douglas et bien d'autres, ainsi des photos inédites de Joel Franklin et Lee Tanner.
